Dear Friends Not long ago I joined the Maccabi family and I’m glad to introduce myself to you I am 29 years old, born in Jerusalem and lived there my entire life with my wonderful family. I studied Sociology& Anthropology and Latin American and Spanish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I have a long background in informal education. For many years I guided in many different frameworks; tour guidance, informal education and professional guidance development in several companies. As most of the young people in Israel I did my service in Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for two years, where I had the most interesting duty being in charge of the educational and cultural division of my unit. During my leisure time I enjoy music, art, hiking and swimming. My motto in life is doing good for others, by smiling and sincere caring. I believe it can really make a difference. As a new member of Maccabi I got the impression that Maccabi Europe is going in a great direction, and it is blooming due to the great job that is still been done. In my vision I see Maccabi Europe carrying on in that direction, getting stronger and becoming the most popular Organization among the Jewish Communities in Europe. One important way to achieve that goal is by creating a strong young leadership in each and every Community. As a young woman I believe we can bring new fresh spirit into Maccabi activities with the advice, help and experience of the older generation. In addition, I believe in sharing thoughts and ideas, and I know I can learn a lot from each and every one in Maccabi. I’m inviting all of you to be in contact with me and share your ideas, questions, suggestions and comments. Every idea is possible to implement in one way or another, and I am sure we can do great things together. From the first day in Maccabi I met great people that are doing an amazing work with great commitment and most of all - big love to Maccabi, the Jewish people and to Israel. I am really proud to be a part of that special Organization and I must say it feels like entering into a big family.
Looking forward to working with you all.
